Update, 14 August 2026. In-app purchases are now live in Arrow Escape. Sections 7 to 10 previously described purchases as something that might be introduced later; they have been rewritten to describe what the Game actually does today. We are recording this plainly rather than restating it as though it had always been the case: these edits were published on the day purchases became available, not fourteen days beforehand. No one was charged before this date — earlier builds could not take a payment at all — so no purchase was made under the older wording.
Arrow Escape (the "Game") is an Android puzzle game published on Google Play under the developer account name codex1. Arrow Escape is published by Akash Modak, trading on Google Play as codex1, of 178 Rowta, near Koupati State Bank of India, Khajuabeel, Udalguri 784113, Assam, India (“we”, “us”, “our”). That is the trader you contract with and the address for any formal notice; it matches our Google Play developer account. That legal name and postal address are the same ones held on our Google Play developer account and stated in our Privacy Policy, and they are the identity and geographic address you are contracting with. Its package name is com.akash604.arrowescape and you can reach us at contact@getwearlotry.com. Written notice to us may be sent to either that email address or that postal address.
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and us covering your installation and use of the Game, any in-app purchases, and any optional advertising you choose to watch. The current text is always at getwearlotry.com/arrow-escape/terms.html.
Our Privacy Policy is a separate notice, not a contractual term. It explains what happens to data and does not create obligations on you; nothing in these Terms is, or substitutes for, the consent we ask for separately before advertising is personalised.
Google Play's own terms apply separately between you and Google, which distributes the Game and processes payments for it. Google is not a party to these Terms.
These Terms and our Privacy Policy are available at any time from Me > Privacy Rights inside the Game. Installing and continuing to use the Game is how agreement is given; uninstalling is how you end it.
There is no account to create and nothing to sign. If you do not accept these Terms, close the Game and uninstall it.
Accepting these Terms is not consent to advertising personalisation — that is asked for separately and can be withdrawn at any time from Me > Privacy Rights. Nothing you do by continuing past the first screen counts as, or replaces, that separate consent.
Arrow Escape is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 to play, and at least the age of digital consent in your country (up to 16 in parts of the EEA) or 18 in India to see personalised advertising. The Game does not ask your age and does not apply age-based ad treatment; it is not designed for or directed to children.
We collect no personal data from anyone. Game data lives in a save file on your device, and — where Google Play Games signs you in, which it may do automatically — is also copied to your own Google account as a saved game, which we cannot read. Ads are served by Google, which may collect a device advertising ID; because of that the Game is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 13, do not play. If a parent believes a child has used the Game, uninstalling removes the local save and the advertising ID can be reset or deleted in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads.
If you are below the age at which you can enter into a binding contract where you live, you may play only with the permission of a parent or guardian who has agreed to these Terms on your behalf. Guardians are responsible for supervising a minor's play and any purchases on their device, and should turn on purchase authentication and parental controls in the Google Play Store app. If a purchase was made by a child without your permission, ask Google Play for a refund through the Play Store order history, or email us the order number — we will not rely on this section to keep money paid without the consent of someone who could give it.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable and limited licence to install and play Arrow Escape on Android devices you own or control, for your own private, non-commercial entertainment.
That is all the licence gives you. We and our licensors keep every right in the Game — code, artwork, level designs, audio, name and logos: you are not buying the Game, you are being allowed to use it. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Third-party components, such as the Unity engine and the Google Mobile Ads SDK, keep their own licences.
You agree not to:
You may of course record, stream and review your own gameplay, and nothing here removes rights the law gives you.
Arrow Escape is single-player and runs on your device. We operate no server of our own; the only things that leave the device go to Google — serving ads, asking Google Play which items are on sale and which you already own, backing your save up to Play Games, and reporting achievements — so we would rather be honest about enforcement than threaten what we cannot do. There are no accounts and no leaderboards — nobody to ban, no score to reset. If you cheat, the only person affected is you.
Because we have no servers, anything we do here would have to happen on your device, and we would rather state plainly what exists today: the Game performs no tamper detection at all. The save file is ordinary JSON with no signature or checksum, and rewards are granted on the ad network's word. We cannot and do not monitor your play remotely. What we reserve is the right to: decline support for modified, patched or repackaged installations; ship tamper detection in a future version that withholds a reward or refuses to run on a device where tampering is detected; and end your licence under section 16 for a serious or repeated breach of section 5. We have no telemetry of any kind, so we cannot see what happens in your copy of the Game unless you tell us. Modified builds may also corrupt your save or break on update, and we are not responsible when they do.
The Game contains virtual items — coins, hints and erasers. Earning or buying them gives you a limited, personal, revocable licence to use them inside Arrow Escape, and nothing more:
Where your balances live, and what that means. Your coins, hints, erasers, level progress and settings are stored in a save file on your device (arrowescape_save.json). We run no servers of our own and hold no copy of your progress.
Where Google Play Games signs you in — which Google does automatically on devices that already have a Play Games profile — that file is also backed up to your own Google account as a Play Games saved game, so you can carry on after a reinstall or on a new phone. That backup belongs to your Google account: we cannot read it, cannot restore it for you and cannot recover it if you delete it. Automatic sign-in is controlled in Google's Play Games app, not inside Arrow Escape, and the Game plays identically without it.
If you are not signed in, there is no copy anywhere. Uninstalling, clearing the Game's storage, a factory reset, changing device, or a corrupted file means those consumable balances and that progress are gone and we cannot restore them — not because we refuse, but because no copy exists. Please consider that before buying a coin pack.
Remove Ads is different. It is a paid, permanent (non-consumable) product bought through Google Play Billing — see section 10 — and Google Play, not our save file, is the record of it: the Game asks Google Play what you own each launch and re-applies the entitlement from Google's answer, with the local save only caching it. Uninstalling, clearing storage, resetting your device or moving to another Android device signed in to the same Google account would therefore not take it away. We will update these Terms before any purchase goes on sale.
All payments are processed by Google Play Billing and Google is the merchant of record. We never see, receive or store your card number, bank details or any other payment credentials.
Prices appear in your local currency before you confirm and include applicable taxes where Google collects them; conversion and bank charges are between you and your bank. Purchases are one-off, and items are delivered immediately to the device you bought them on.
If a purchase does not arrive, close and reopen the Game, since a slow network can delay delivery. If it still has not arrived, check Order history in the Play Store app, then email us the order number, the item and your device model. We aim to reply within 5 working days and will either deliver the item or help you get a refund.
Refunds are handled through Google Play, because Google takes the payment. Google offers a short self-service refund window in the Play Store app and website; after it, requests come to us, and we consider them fairly and in line with the law that applies to you. Email refund requests to contact@getwearlotry.com with your order number.
Consumers with a statutory cooling-off period. Where your law gives you one, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract for digital content, and that right ends once supply has begun if you gave express consent to immediate supply and acknowledged that you would lose it. Before a purchase completes, Google Play's checkout asks for your express consent to immediate supply and your acknowledgment that this ends the withdrawal right, and Google sends you the receipt confirming it; we rely on and stand behind that process. If you did not receive that confirmation, email us and we will treat the withdrawal right as unaffected. Not every country provides a cooling-off period for digital content — India, for example, does not — and this paragraph applies only where your law gives you one. None of this affects your separate rights if an item is faulty, never delivered or not as described; there you remain entitled to a remedy, including a refund where the law provides one.
Arrow Escape is supported by advertising served by Google AdMob. A banner advert is shown at the bottom of the play screen. A full-screen advert can appear after you complete a level, when you tap Next Level — from level 6 onwards and at most three times per play session. It never appears when you launch the Game, when a level starts, or when you press back. Rewarded videos are separate and always optional: one plays only when you tap a button offering a revive, a hint, an eraser or doubled coins in return, and every level can be completed without watching one.
What Google receives. Whenever an ad is requested or shown — the banner, the full-screen advert after a level, or a rewarded video you choose to watch — Google and its ad partners may receive your device advertising ID (AAID), IP address, general (non-precise) location, device information and ad interaction data, and act as independent controllers of it — see our Privacy Policy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. We receive no personal data from this. Apart from serving those ads, the Game runs entirely on your device and we operate no server that receives anything about you.
Your advertising choices. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before any ad is requested; if you decline, we request no ads at all. In California and other US states with equivalent rights, you can stop the disclosure of your advertising identifier by resetting or deleting it in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads, or by writing to contact@getwearlotry.com; we will confirm your preference. Wherever you are, Me > Ad Preferences explains what is shared and, where a consent form applies, is where you reopen and change your answer.
Ads come from Google and its partners, not from us: we do not choose or endorse what is advertised and are not responsible for ad content or where an ad leads. If a video fails to load or is closed early, the reward may not be granted; just try again. If you see an ad that is inappropriate, deceptive or does not close properly, email us at contact@getwearlotry.com with a screenshot and the time — we can block advertisers and ad categories through our AdMob settings and report the ad to Google.
Remove Ads. Remove Ads is a one-time, permanent (non-consumable) purchase made through Google Play Billing. It stops the banner and the full-screen advert after a level; it does not remove the optional rewarded videos, which you choose to watch in exchange for a reward. Here is what it does and does not do:
| Remove Ads does | Remove Ads does not |
|---|---|
| Act as a forward guarantee: for as long as you own the Game on the Google account that bought it, on any device signed in to that account, no ad the Game shows without you asking for it — the banner and the full-screen advert after a level — will be shown to you. | Remove the optional rewarded videos: those stay available by your choice, so you can keep earning free revives and hints by watching one. |
| Stay tied to the Google account that bought it. Reinstalling, or installing on another Android device signed in to the same Google account, restores it automatically; you never pay twice. The Game asks Google Play what you own on every launch and set the ads-removed flag from Google's answer, with the local save only caching it. | Depend on the local save, so deleting the save, clearing storage, uninstalling or changing device does not take it away. It does not grant coins, hints or erasers, or make any level easier. |
The Game runs on the Android devices and OS versions listed on its store page; we do not promise it will run on every device or be available and error-free at all times. We may issue updates that fix bugs, add or change levels and features, adjust the in-game economy, or keep the Game compatible with new Android versions and store policies; Google Play may install them automatically, and some may be required for the Game to keep working.
We may also stop distributing, supporting or updating Arrow Escape. If we withdraw it we will give reasonable notice through the store listing or in the Game where practicable, and will stop selling virtual items and Remove Ads first. A copy already installed will normally keep working offline, though we cannot guarantee it.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or remedy you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including statutory guarantees of quality and conformity and statutory refund and repair rights under the EU Consumer Rights and Digital Content Directives, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Australian Consumer Law and India's Consumer Protection Act, 2019, as applicable to you. Where a clause below conflicts with such a right, it does not apply to the extent of the conflict and the rest of these Terms continue in force.
Subject to section 12, the Game is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every device, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not responsible for loss of local save data caused by uninstalling, clearing app storage, device failure, factory reset, modified systems or third-party software — but this does not touch a paid non-consumable entitlement such as Remove Ads, which is restored from Google Play and not from your save file (see sections 7 and 10).
Subject to section 12, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
You agree to indemnify us against reasonable losses and costs we actually incur from a third-party claim caused by your deliberate or negligent breach of section 5, your fraud, or your infringement of someone else's rights. This indemnity applies only where you are using the Game other than as a consumer — for example commercially, or in ad fraud or redistribution. It does not apply to consumers. It also does not apply to a claim caused by our own act or omission. If you have written to us from an email address, we will use it to tell you about any such claim, and we will not settle it without your agreement.
These Terms apply while the Game is installed, and you may end them any time by uninstalling. We may end your licence immediately if you seriously or repeatedly breach section 5; because there is no account and we hold no contact details for you, we cannot warn you individually, so termination for breach takes effect through the Game itself.
On termination your licence under Section 4 ends and you must uninstall the Game. The reservation of rights in Section 4, and Sections 6, 7 (except the licence to use virtual items, which ends with your licence), 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18 and 19, survive.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of India, and the competent courts in India have jurisdiction.
Consumer carve-out. If you deal with us as a consumer, that does not deprive you of the mandatory consumer-law protections of the country where you habitually reside, or of your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where mandatory law gives you that right. We do not commit to any alternative dispute resolution body; consumers in India may approach the consumer fora established under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Game, to advertising or purchase arrangements, or to legal requirements. The current version, with its effective date, is always at getwearlotry.com/arrow-escape/terms.html.
For material changes — to purchases, refunds, advertising formats or liability, for example — we will publish the change on the terms page with its effective date at least 14 days beforehand. We have no account system, no email address for you and no way to message your device directly, so this page is the only channel that carries that notice; please check it before you buy. We previously said we would also show a notice inside the Game, and we should not have: the Game has no such mechanism, so that promise could not be kept and has been removed rather than left standing. If you do not accept a change, uninstall before it takes effect; continuing to play afterwards means you accept the updated Terms. Changes never apply retroactively to a purchase you have already made.
Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it is severed and the rest continue in full force.
Entire agreement. These Terms are the whole agreement about the Game and replace anything said earlier, except that nothing here excludes liability for fraudulent misrepresentation. Our Privacy Policy is a notice rather than part of this agreement (see section 1), and nothing in this paragraph limits what it tells you.
Assignment. You may not assign your rights. We may assign ours to a successor or buyer of the Game provided your rights are not reduced, with notice on the terms page and in the Game or store listing.
No waiver. Not enforcing a provision straight away does not lose us the right to enforce it later.
Language. These Terms are in English; if a translation conflicts, the English version prevails unless mandatory local law says otherwise.
